  |     |   Uncategorized

Called the “jewel of Montgomery Parks,” Brookside Gardens brings half a century of experience to its 50 acres, offering a sensory experience that visitors won’t soon forget. Paired with the park’s conservatories, you can surround yourself with tropical and seasonal foliage.

Throughout the year, you can enjoy a wide variety of special events at Brookside Gardens and Conservatory, from the Garden of Lights to educational experiences. But, at any time of year, you can take in the natural beauty of the gardens, the inspiration inherent in that nature, and the fresh air you’ll only find in such a well-conserved space.

Take in the gardens after a picnic at Wheaton Regional Park or take in the history behind Brookside Gardens with its decades of careful conservation and meaningful development. Or, simply take in the gardens as they stand today, from the Aquatic Garden and the Labyrinth of the Japanese Gude Garden, to the newly-added rain garden or cyclical Fragrance Garden.

With leaves and lotuses, garden roses and rhododendrons, there’s a flower or other plant that every visitor will enjoy. Return through the seasons to take in the various flowers appearing throughout the year. Or, bring visiting loved ones to the garden for an experience they’ll never forget. In any case, the Brookside Gardens and Conservatory will certainly make an impact, as it has for years and will continue to for as long as possible.
